About Us
Cambridge Out-of-School Childcare is a specialist service from The Cambridge Childcare Group now the City and surrounding Cambridgeshire villages.
After-school and school holiday clubs operate from Victoria Road and Queen Edith's Community Primary School and St Matthew's Primary School. Rascals @ St Matthew's also runs a breakfast club. In January 2010 we will be offering after-school and holiday care in Cottenham.
We also offer after-school care in Longstanton and Orchard Park and holiday care in the Witchford, Ely area.
Rascals @ Victoria Kids Club is the largest out-of-school centre in Cambridge and caters for up to 70 children aged 4-14.
After-school care is available from 3pm to 6pm at Victoria Road and also for children who only attend school in the mornings.
We collect children from very many schools in the area and give them a fun time until their parents arrive to collect them at the end of the day. For example, Rascals @ Victoria Kids Club currently collects children from St Luke's, Mayfield, Arbury Rd, St Lawrence's, Milton Road, Milton Primary, St Matthew's, St Alban's, Park Street, Perse Girls, Shirley, Castle etc.
As we also cater for children of secondary school age they may, at their parents' discretion, make their own way to the clubs.
During the school holidays we have separate programmes for the 4-7, 8-11, & 11-14 age groups.
The holiday clubs operate throughout every holiday, many Teacher Training Days and are open from 8am to 6pm. We will consider opening outside State school terms to cater for children at private schools whose holidays are generally longer.
We will pick your children up in the morning and drop them back at the end of the holiday day to a pre-arranged meeting point.
Rascals @ Queen Edith's offers the same services as Victoria Kids Club and is registered for 40 children. Although situated within the school buildings they are not exclusive to those schools. We will pick-up from other local schools and have made special arrangements for children attending Colville School in Cherry Hinton and Teversham School.
Rascals @ St Matthew's provides after-school, school holiday care and a breakfast club for up to 72 children.
